How to resolve your Scanning Issues?

With Vista, there is also a Windows program called Windows Defender and it maybe what is causing this issue. Please launch Windows Defender and go to Tools, Options. Here you will find a lot of configuration options. Scroll down to the end of the list. You will find there a section called Administrator options. Deselect the Use Windows Defender box and press the Save button. Now you will receive a notification saying that "Windows Defender is turned off". Click on Close.
If you have Windows XP, please disable your Windows Firewall. To do this, go to Start/Control Panel/Windows Firewall and set it you off.
