If your Defender Pro is coming up Expired, please choose to reactivate Defender Pro one last time and go to Advanced mode. General tab/Settings... and uncheck "Load Defender-Pro user interface at Startup".

If you are unable to get to the activation screen to reactive Defender Pro, please run the DP Analysis tool to force it to prompt you to reactivate.

  • Save the DP Analysis to the desktop.
  • Double click the DPanalysis.exe
  • Run the report.
  • Save this report to the Desktop.
  • Select the option to reactivate
  • Select ‘OK’. Your system will be prompted to reboot.
  • When the system is rebooted, it will automatically come up asking for your new License ID and Passwords.

Then, go to Advanced mode. General tab/Settings... and uncheck "Load Defender-Pro user interface at Startup".

This will take Defender Pro off the startup menu. Everytime you reboot, you will need to manually launch or load DP. This Expiring early issue is happening due to the amount of time it takes you to boot up your computer. Either due to the slow processor on the computer or the number of applications loading on the start up menu. Defender Pro tries to activate before it's done rebooting causing this issue. NULL
